After Mark had his arm amputated in August 2006 I started making jewellery with the intention of raising funds for a highly functioning prosthetic arm. Mark's quality of life was top of my agenda at that time because we believed the amputation had resolved the cancer problem. How blind we were!
Now that Mark is gone, I continue learning new techniques and find that making jewellery is a welcome distraction and time filler. Beady Bitz is a gallery of pieces I have made.
